Martin Schaetzel started to bottle his own wine in the early 1930s.
1998
Jean Schaetzel switched to Organic and Biodynamic culture and was awarded AB and Biodynamic certification.
2015 – 2016
Creation of Kirrenbourg SAS, a subsidiary of Rinaldi with equity capital of €2,900,000. A new winery was built in Kientzheim for the 10 ha under vine, including 5 hectares of Grand Cru Schlossberg and 4 hectares of Grand Cru Brand. The estate switched to biodynamic culture, the first vintage of which was the 2015.

2018 : The first Demeter-certified vintage.

Martin Schaetzel by Kirrenbourg became Domaine Kirrenbourg.
